FAQs

  • Is the procedure safe?

Yes, when performed by a trained professional using single use needles, sterile equipment and high-quality pigments, cosmetic tattooing is safe.

  • Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?

Discomfort varies among individuals. Primary and secondary topical anaesthetics are applied to minimize pain throughout the procedure. Information on where to purchase the numbing agent are in the FREE Pre/Post Care Guide below!

  • How long does each procedure take?

Initial sessions typically last up to 3.5 hours, including consultation and design. Touch-up sessions are shorter, usually around 1.5 to 2 hours.

  • How many sessions are needed?

Every client require two sessions: an initial treatment and a 6 week retouch appointment to perfect the results.

  • What is the recovery period like?

Some swelling and redness can be expected for up to 24 hours following the procedure. The treated area must be kept clean, and no makeup should be applied for several days. Some skin peeling/flaking and lightening of the applied colour is normal. Healing is subtle, so you can resume normal work and leisure activities the following day.
